The devoted teams in our residential care homes support older people with truly person-centred care, promoting their independence and enriching their lives.
Our residential care homes have all the comforts you’d expect, with the small personal touches that make them feel special.
Moving into a home doesn’t mean someone needs to leave their previous life behind. We support our residents to be as independent as possible, safe in the knowledge that our dedicated staff are there around-the-clock to offer support with everything from getting dressed in the morning, to providing personal care with dignity.
Nursing care
The devoted teams in our nursing homes provide truly person-centred care around-the-clock for our residents living with long-term medical conditions and disabilities, with teams of highly trained nurses.
In our nursing homes, our residents receive truly person-centred nursing care, tailored to their often very complex, individual needs, which is delivered with compassion and kindness.
They embrace the balance between high-quality nursing care and an environment which remains homely and comforting, supporting our residents to feel as relaxed and at ease as possible.
Dementia care
The teams in our dementia care homes offer round-the-clock support for those who can no longer live independently. This includes progressive brain conditions that affect memory and thinking skills, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body or vascular dementia and age-related memory loss.
Many of our residents may have previously been cared for at home by a loved one, who may well have been the one to spot those early symptoms of dementia. We understand how hard it can be to support someone through their dementia journey alone before they move into a care home. Our staff are here to not only provide excellent care and enrich our residents’ lives, but to help their relatives when it comes to understanding dementia.
Respite care
Our short-term care home breaks are there if someone needs a short period of time in a residential care or nursing home. Being responsible for the well-being and health of someone increasingly frail can take its toll over time. For example, you might be looking after an elderly relative living with dementia and need a well-earned break yourself; safe in the knowledge that we are here to provide their care and support. Or, you may need additional support following an operation to help you get back on your feet or an emergency stay at very short notice in a nursing home with respite care.
